Vero Beach Real Estate Today

Real Estate Technology That Supports Social Distancing

The current Coronavirus pandemic has sent many of our 'normal' events into a tailspin, and traditional real estate practices like open houses have been halted. But there is a silver lining: interest rates are at a historical low, and while many of us are stuck inside, technology is helping combat social distancing, especially for real estate. The real estate industry remains in motion, and my website offers a number of features that support both buyers and sellers - and all of them can be accessed from the comfort of your home!

Find Your New Home Right Now

For many real estate markets across the US inventory is low, meaning those looking to buy need to be ready to make an offer. My website, HomesOfVeroBeach.com, makes it easy to search your desired area from your desktop or mobile device; whether you're looking at a specific city, zip code, neighborhood, school district, know the specific address or just looking to do a general map search, my site's search can search it all. Mobile search is also supported - if you're driving around your desired area, the search can use your current location to pinpoint nearby properties for sale.

It's important for buyers to know they're getting the most up-to-date information for their preferred real estate market - my site is a reliable source for the newest listings and property price changes because of the completeness of the MLS data. My listing display pages have all the information you could want for every property. From information about price and specific details about beds, bathrooms, square feet and more, there's also demographic information like school and community data. You also have an easy way to request information, schedule a showing, view a virtual tour or print a property flyer right from the listing.

As a buyer, you want to be at the forefront of real estate news for your desired area. My website allows you to register for a free account where you can save searches, favorite properties, get automated market information reports for a chosen area; you can email me and even sign up for notifications for new properties and properties that have been updated with new photos or price changes. You also have the ability to choose how often you'd like to receive email updates on the latest information.

Selling Is Easy Too

Most websites are created with the buyer in mind, but my website and technology offer advanced advantages to the seller. Sellers can use my website, to share a vast amount of information about their homes. For those serious sellers wanting a quick sale, each listing can support a virtual tour or virtual open house, allowing buyers a way to experience your home virtually.

If you list with me, I can also offer an online seller report, which provides useful information on how a property has performed on my site. The report includes search results views, listing map preview counts, listing detailed views, how many times the property was saved to favorites, and how many times it was included in listing emails. Pair this with the valuable market watch report - which provides you with details on a specific area (number of homes for sale, average list price, number of new properties on the market, number of listings off-market, number of sold homes, the average sale price and median sale price), and as a seller, you will have access to an immense amount of information that can help get your property sold.

Communication Is Key

Communication is an important part of the real estate industry and communicating with me via my website is quick and easy. I have multiple points of contact on my website, and because my site is mobile-friendly, any time you access it via a phone or tablet and click on my phone number, it will automatically call me.

Not only do I have a number of contact forms on my site, but you can also reach me directly through individual listings and on the map search itself. If you sign up for a free account, you can also send me direct messages through your client dashboard. I am here for you!

While many of us have had to put certain aspects of our lives on hold, the real estate industry is still going strong. If you’ve been thinking of buying a new home or are looking to sell, you can still do so! Take advantage of all my site has to offer, and don't forget I'm here to help you through every step of the way. Don’t hesitate to contact me: DDavisVeroBeach@Gmail.com, and please take a look at my website for more information HomesOfVeroBeach.com!

This is a great opportunity to reach out to your favorite restaurant to see if they are willing to help out! This meal train is to provide the 17 workers on the frontline of testing for COVID-19 at Cleveland Clinic drive thru testing site who are working 9am-5pm, Monday-Sunday working non-stop, a lunch. The least we could do is to provide a lunch for them to keep their energy up! Please only order lunch to be delivered to them by 11AM. CLICK HERE TO HELP.

OneBlood is working with the public and physicians to coordinate the delivery of potential life saving COVID-19 convalescent plasma to those in need. Convalescent plasma (CPP) is plasma collected from people who have recovered from the coronavirus. People who recover from coronavirus infection have developed antibodies to the virus that remain in the plasma portion of their blood. Transfusing the plasma that contains the antibodies into a person still fighting the virus can provide a boost to the patient’s immune system and potentially help them recover. Across a Barrier of Fear: The Life of Eleanor Roosevelt
SUNDAY 2/16 • 1 PM
VERO BEACH THEATRE GUILD
2020 San Juan Avenue • Vero Beach
One of Americas most highly respected and admired First Ladies, Eleanor Roosevelt, once acknowledged that everything I ever did was accomplished across a barrier of fear.

On Sunday, Feb. 16, Jane VanBoskirk will appear in the one-woman play, Across a Barrier of Fear: The Life of Eleanor Roosevelt at the Vero Beach Theatre Guild. Written by Sharon Whitney, the play follows Eleanor from lonely, neglected childhood to the world stage. We trace her growing awareness of the world, witness through her eyes the political rise of Franklin D. Roosevelt, follow her as she reinvents the role of First Lady. We see how she learned to articulate her values and vision, how she kept moving forward despite disappointments and defeat, and how she built up her courage while facing daily that barrier of fear.

The afternoon begins with refreshments at 1pm, courtesy of Florida Eye Institute, followed by the play at 2 p.m. Tickets, at $40 per person, with student tickets at $20 each, are available from the Theater Guild box office, online through VeroBeachTheatreGuild.com, and at AAUW Vero Beach events.

For more information, contact Sally Fitzgerald at sallyter@bellsouth.net or 772-492-1851.

The event is sponsored by the Vero Beach American Association of University Women, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All proceeds will support scholarships, grants and programs for women and girls in Indian River County.

Joan Osborne and her trio of musicians will no doubt leave audiences with a soulful evening filled of tunes, stories and strong feelings of optimism. This concert is one in a series proudly presented to the community by LIVE! From Vero Beach.

Joan Elizabeth Osborne is an American singer, songwriter, and interpreter of music, having recorded and performed in various popular American musical genres including pop, soul, R&B, blues, and country. She is best known for her recording of the Eric Bazilian song "One of Us". She has toured with Motown sidemen the Funk Brothers and was featured in the documentary film about them, Standing in the Shadows of Motown. Just finishing a smashing successful tour, "Joan Osborne Sings the Songs of Bob Dylan," Joan is sure to delight the audience with some Dylan tunes. She is a three-time platinum Grammy-nominated singer, has made three albums of soul, R & B, and Blues covers, and has been referred to as "the most gifted vocalist of her generation and a singer who understands the nuaunce of phrase, time and elocution." Joining Ms. Osborne in concert is the amazing veteran pianist Keith Cotton along with a collaborating guitarist enabling the trio flexibility to play the songs in a subtle way or to crank them up from more of a party atmosphere!
