Pierce Join fellow members and tour the beautiful 150-acre chimpanzee sanctuary, home to nearly 250 rescued chimpanzees. Save the Chimps is closed to the public but hosts three Member Day events per year. Members from across the country have an opportunity to register for a guided tour of the world’s largest chimpanzee sanctuary, and to catch a glimpse of nearly 250 chimpanzee residents. The tour covers 1.25 miles of the expansive 150-acre sanctuary in Fort Pierce, Florida. Members will observe the chimpanzees as they roam the islands covered in grass, palm trees, hills, and climbing structures. The chimps have the freedom to run, play, visit with friends, find a quiet corner to relax, bask in the sun, or curl up in the shade. Seeing these sights is a one-of-a-kind experience!

April was a busy month for island sales. 64 Properties closed on the barrier island. They had an average sales price of $784,935. The highest was $5,000,000 for an oceanfront home in Bermuda Bay and the least expensive was a one bedroom condo in Del Mar for $115,000.
As expected for this time of year, there were fewer sales in December. Thirty two properties sold this month, with a low of $160,000 for a two bedroom oceanfront Co-Op in Ocean Club II and a high of $1,845,000 for a five bedroom, six bath, riverfront, single family home in Seagrove West.
